DNA Racing

Speed.  Rivalry.  Ferocity.  Camaraderie.

2012 brings many new additions as well as new aspirations.  DNA Racing was created to bring a fresh approach to the cycling scene within the state of Oklahoma and throughout the region.  2012 is only to be our third season and with the newly established DNA Development Team and partnerships with new and renewing sponsors we couldn't be more excited for what the future holds.

We realize that strong character and teamwork builds strong organizations AND strong families in the community.

A few weeks ago, before the Salt Creek Circuit race, I was reminded of a very important lesson in life.  Anything Is Possible.  I came home the Friday before the race and was greeted at the door by my daughters and a beautiful picture, Addi, my oldest daughter had made for me.  It was a poster she had made for the race that said "You Can Win."

On March 7th, I had the opportunity to sit down with Clancey Cleveland, host of Beyond The Game, with Moore Monthly Television (MMTV).  It was a great opporunity to talk cycling, promote the OKC Pro-Am Classic & the King Of Moore races we are hosting in June as well as make a few new friends.

Thanks a lot Clancey, MMTV and everyone else for your hospitality.  I look forward to seeing you soon.

Well, it was a great day for racing. It happened to be my 10 yr anniversary, so MANY thanks goes out to my ever supportive wife for accompanying Phillip, Andy and I on our trip to south Texas.

The 21st edition of La Primavera race was a full field for Saturday..100 guys on a open course.  We had myself, Andy, and Frank representing the DNA squad in the 2's.

Race Season is finally here!

And what better way to start it off with two huge road races in Texas?

First up, Walburg:

From what other riders have told me Walburg is typically cold, raining, windy, and miserable. However, our race was in the 50s, light wind, and completely dry. We couldn’t ask for better weather, but with 100 guys in the Cat 4 field and the yellow line rule in effect, it would definitely be an interesting race.
